Traveling in Scotland with kids may seem overwhelming but I want to encourage you, it’s not. It’s actually incredibly fun! Scotland is wonderfully child-friendly. From historical sites to gardens, extra care has been made to include children. National Trust sites often have a search for kids to find little things (our favourite is Culzean Castle’s LEGO hunt which moves every couple of months so always keeps us on our toes!). Both Historic Scotland and National Trust are extremely accommodating for children.
What about little babies? I’ve found Scotland to be very accommodating for infants - more so than London even! So much of what we see is pram or pushchair friendly, nursing mums are welcomed, and people love babies! I’ve had good experiences taking my little ones out here, and I’m sure you will as well!
