Before I went to London, one of my friends advised me to "Look up". I took her advice and was absolutely amazed at the architecture and details above eye-level.

So I have a lot of pictures and decided to split this post into a rather picture heavy post, divided by days. You're welcome.

We went to London last week and I took SO many pictures! And we saw so many incredible things that I have always wanted to see! On the only full day there, I woke up and planned to go to the British Museum in the morning. I dropped Aaron off for his day of research and then checked and the Museum didn't open until 10. Instead, I decided to walk- and ended up at Buckingham Palace. :) There was something rather fun about walking through London earlyish in the morning before it was really awake and seeing the sights without lots of fellow tourists crowding for the best shot. I meandered through St. James' Park for a lovely detour before doing some emergency baby shopping at Primark and then eating lunch at a fantastic little Greek place! After lunch, I went back to our hotel, took a nap (you know, sleep when baby sleeps!), went to the British Museum but didn't get any pictures (husband had the camera, but the clock exhibit was fantastic and informative), ate Korean for dinner (WOOT WOOT!) and then walked down to Picadilly for ice cream. Stopped by St. Martin in the Fields where they were doing a concert and wished for an opportunity to visit, before walking our weary feet back up to the hotel in preparation for the following day.

To be continued...
